Our school programs support disengaged young people across Western Australia to reconnect with learning, build confidence, and discover their potential.

All Abilities
An inclusive program that empowers young people living with disability to build confidence, independence, and life skills, while increasing participation in school, sport, and community activities.

Culture Through Sport
An interactive program that teaches students about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through traditional games, cultural education, and learning from Elders.

Gnalla Djooks
A culturally safe program designed for Aboriginal girls and young women, offering individual support and group activities to strengthen wellbeing, engagement, cultural connection, and education outcomes.

Umpiring
An AFL-endorsed program that equips young people with the skills and accreditation to become boundary, goal, and field umpires, with ongoing support to transition into local umpiring pathways.

Future Leaders
Targeting youth in upper primary school and early high school, the Future Leaders program is an 8-week journey designed to help students grow in confidence, resilience, and leadership while preparing for a strong start to high school.

Regional Sporting Carnivals
Fun and inclusive carnivals that bring together youth from different communities to compete, connect, and grow — while also creating local opportunities in coaching, umpiring, and event support.

SMF Connect
An online program connecting metropolitan staff with regional schools, delivering engaging, interactive sessions that keep young people connected despite distance barriers.

Sporting Schools
A government-funded initiative that provides free access to a wide range of sports in schools, building students’ confidence and motivation to stay active for life.

Rising Leaders
A 20-week school-based program for high school students in years 9 and 10, combining classroom and sport activities to boost school attendance, behaviour, and leadership. Sessions focus on social and emotional learning, teamwork, cultural awareness, and practical life skills.
