Stronger kids, stronger communities
Our story

Our journey is shaped by young people, their families, and the communities we serve.
The Stephen Michael Foundation was established in 2017 to all support young people across Western Australia who are often overlooked or at risk.
Since our establishment, we’ve worked closely with schools, families, and communities across Western Australia to deliver inclusive, tailored programs that empower young people through sport, leadership, culture, and wellbeing.
We’ve helped thousands of young West Australians unlock their potential, strengthen their sense of belonging, and step into brighter futures.
Our work doesn’t just change the lives of young people — it creates ripple effects that strengthen families, schools, and entire communities.
Our impact
Our impact is built on three key pillars that guide everything we do — from empowering youth directly to strengthening the communities and systems around them.
These pillars ensure we’re not only engaging and inspiring young people today, but also building sustainable pathways for healthier, more connected communities across Western Australia, now and into the future.
Our Youth
We develop and deliver programs that support the dynamic needs and aspirations of our youth.
Our Communities
We strive for positive outcomes and sustainability to build strong communities.
Our Team
We are a high performing organisation who people want to work for, and communities want to work with.
