In Western Australia, the issues of at-risk youth, fractured communities and high crime statistics often go hand-in-hand. But what if it didn’t have to be like that? At the Stephen Michael Foundation, we believe that thriving communities start with thriving kids. And we can’t expect our kids to thrive if they don’t believe in their own self-worth.
Every flame needs a spark and that’s where we come in. Our mission is to support youth to reach their full potential.
Our community & school-based programs focus on inspiring vulnerable kids to develop self-confidence, embrace positive behaviours and invest in their future. We work with all kids, regardless of gender or cultural background to give them the space, support and skills to reach their full potential. The result is communities that are strong and engaged with ongoing opportunities for all young people to participate and grow.
